今天我的一个瑞典朋友来到了北京。我们今天是在北大的未名湖旁边见的，那儿离我们1997年第一次见面只有几公里 —— 那年我们俩都在语言学院学习汉语。在这几年内，我的朋友一直没有变，他的金色头发仍然那样长，他的动作还是象我第一次见他时那样微妙，他说的话也象当时那样多。我们喝了一杯啤酒，他还要了一个小二，他说他最近喜欢喝酒。
在这里又见到他感觉很好，过去和现在、瑞典和中国都成为一个话题，时间和距离都已不存在了。

我没有照片给你看，但我昨天住的宾馆非常大卫·林奇，气氛相当堕落。如果有照片你就会更明白我的意思。
穿过薄薄的墙壁我就可以听到隔壁破旧的床铺的弹簧很有节奏地被压下，然后又恢复原状，再被压下，再恢复原状。偶尔也可以听见女方在叫。
卫生间里没有热水，也没有卫生纸，房间里的灯闪闪地发出弱暗的光。我进来房间五分钟以后电话就响了，话筒里有一个女孩对我说：先生，您需要按摩吗？

那里很适合我的目的及欲望，虽然房间有点破，有点脏，但我第二天还是觉得非常干净，甚至觉得自己经过了某种净化。
可惜生活不能一直这样美好。

我1995年搬到了马尔默，瑞典第三大城市，位于瑞典的南端。那里的人口只有二十五万，地方很小，文化生活很乏味。
在这里我们就牺牲了我们生活最珍贵的岁月，但我们没有完全变得麻木，反而我们就为了反抗那里的幽暗和邪恶的力量而做了不少好玩的事情。比如开地下酒吧、开各种各样的演唱会、放地下电影等活动。但最多的时间我们就在做电子音乐。我们的圈子一共大概有十个人，都是积极的未来主义者，不管天阴还是晴都要穿一身黑色，把头发提得很光。我们创造的音乐也大概如此地黑。
现在十年已过去了。我生活在中国，我当时最好的朋友现在英国当消防员，另外一个在哥本哈根培养下一代的共产主义者。虽然我们相隔的距离这样遥远，但我们现在安排通过几天前在这里提到过的那些高级技术，从十年前做的音乐里选择其中最好的几部作品编一张合集CD。我们打算九月份做好，十月份发行。我很期待。

爱是人做的。

最近我和我的同屋吴飞龙陷入了对高级技术的疯狂的心态之中，全宿舍现在都是电脑、电子乐的乐器和设备、摄影机、数码照相机、USB电风扇、无线router、手机等等。飞龙最近买了一部PDA - 就是掌上型电脑，使了周围的同学们都馋得慌。电脑真的是个好伙伴，我的笔记本正坐在我的大腿上望着我。我、Matt和它今晚一起去了五道口的雕刻时光咖啡馆，我和Matt坐在他们的阳台上看了韩国的电影《老男孩》。我们都很喜欢，而且喜欢科技给我们带来的欢乐。北京五月的晚上的威风、一壶什果冰茶、一部好电影 - 感觉相当舒适，但如果ZZ也在，这个晚上就会更完美了。

周小姐从法国已经回来了，但她回来第二天，柯岩就回国了。柯岩是我的一个同胞，现在要回瑞典读博士。走了一个，还有两个星期我们这里的同学都要分散了，各自回到自己的家乡。

我昨天去了胡子的宿舍。他的书架上、抽屉和衣柜里全是打口磁带和光盘，据说他一共有3000多盘。我从他那里拿了几盘磁带，包括张楚、崔健、河勇、窦唯和王勇。有意思的是我见过那个王勇。我们在后海有一次分享了一壶茉莉花茶，谈了电脑音乐的操作和创作。王勇染过头发，充满自信，说话很果断。他要组织一支100多人的巨大乐队。他显然是中国的Yanni。

最近我花粉过敏，鼻涕一向受地球引力的影响往下流着。今天去学校里的物美超市买药，售货员给我介绍了一种中药。他说他的一个朋友去纽约留学，在美国生活了三年，一直很过敏，但吃了那种药以后就“一辈子再也没有过敏了，这个药完全改变了他的体质。”
我倒觉得有点恐怖，中国还有这种变态药。或者只是中国的促销手段太厉害了吧。

离北京大学很近有一个地方叫图书城（凡是在北京上大学的都知道的）图书城里头除了很多书店以外还有一些小饭店。我和一个同胞昨晚在那边喝了扎啤吃了羊肉串，夜里一点半才吃饱了。在回北大的路上我们看到了一群中国小伙子，五个人，大概20来岁站在四环路边。走近了我们发现离我们最近的那个拿着一支机枪，看起来好像是苏联有名的ak-47。他们不说话，而我们也没有勇气去问他们到底在那里有什么事需要这种设备。回到宿舍就碰到了Nikita和Tray。一听我们的故事Nikita就兴奋起来，说我们一定要回去看看他们还在不在。走到了四环路他们果然已经消失了。

Went to the zoo today. Lot´s of animals and stuff. I really enjoyed the Flamingos.

The hungry can not imagine the feeling of not being hungry. The freezing can not imagine the feeling of being too warm.

We love buying pirate DVDs, actually it´s one of the few things that makes me really excited these days. Finding a new little forgotten store somewhere is almost like touching the rainbow. We pay less than 1 dollar for a film, no money go to Mel Gibson or Steven Spielberg, which I suppose is a good thing, but at the same time, Roy Andersson or Alexandro Jodorovsky don´t get a penny either.

There are two particularly good stores around here. One is Blue Goat books, a small book store well hidden in a small alley just around the corner of Qinghua University. They have a web site:

The other one is one kilometer to the west. It´s a hard place to spot, nothing outside the store tells you that there are films for sale, except an old film poster on the door. If you ever come to Haidian in Beijing and you are looking for good films, be sure to check these two places out. If you want the detailed addresses, you are welcome to contact me.
